Rare case of Multi-segment facial nerve schwannoma (MFNS) - A case report

Multi-segment Facial Nerve Schwannoma (MFNS) is a very rare tumor, benign in nature and can arise anywhere along the course of facial nerve from its origin cerebello-pontine angle to extra cranial ramification parotid space head neck. It mimic like vestibular schwannoma other schwannoma. The most common clinical presentation palsy depending upon segment involved. We report case multi-segment extending gland, presented with palsy, hearing loss, difficulty swallowing walking. Radiological investigations was done confirmed diagnosis MFNS. Patient underwent near total excision tumor by combined approach patient improved clinically after surgery.
